Paradox Plot
The Gifted and the Beginning It all started with the ancient tribes, who lived in the Paradox lands long before the clans. They each had unique, powerful abilities that drove them wild.
The Tribe of Roaring Fire possessed the power of fire. The Tribe of Endless Gust possessed the power of wind. The Tribe of Shadow possessed the power of darkness. The Tribe of Eternal Rain possessed the power of water. The Tribe of Giving Earth possessed the power of stone.
Each tribe was granted their powers from a long lost source, but once the tribes lost faith in their own ancestors, the ancestors left them to fend for themselves. Having nothing to live by anymore, the tribes lost their code of conduct and personal beliefs, and destroyed each other in a painful, elemental war.
After the rubble, only five remained- the leaders of their tribes. They decided to live the rest of their lives in peace, wanting only to regain contact with their long lost ancestors and unite with their old ways. But their ancestors never returned to them, and the five eventually died of old age.
Their spirits, however, lived on. And while all their tribemates' spirits had abandoned the land, forever to suffer in the Place of No Stars, the five tribal leaders remained in a lonely, desolate world without any guide or knowledge of the life beyond. The five named themselves the Gifted, who were eager to spread their knowledge to passerby's. Unfortunately, none ever did pass by, and those who did were uninterested and hostile.
Nearly centuries later, however, the clans were born into the world. StarClan met with the five original leaders, and learned about these unique abilities. The Gifted, having no more reason to remain on earth, granted StarClan their own abilities. The tribal leaders warned them to use these ‘Gifts’ only as a way for protection and knowledge, and not as a means of power. StarClan acknowledged their hospitality, and in return they showed the Gifted the gateway to the afterlife. The Gifted are long gone now, and are at peace.
When the time was right, StarClan introduced these ‘Gifts’ to the clans- and enforced a new, strict code around them. The Clans were weary about the idea at first, but quickly adapted. So far, no harm has been done.
Life at Peace So far, the clans are at peace. Our next site plot will happen shortly.
